CONTROL SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR
Contribute to innovative and unique control solutions to align with project and client’s needs. Responsible for a variety of Automation Projects, including PLC Programming, HMI Programming, SCADA Programming, DCS Programming, Network Configuration, AC & DC Drive Setup & Configuration, Instrumentation, Electrical Design and Commissioning/Startup Support Services.
LEARN MORESpecific Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Development of system P&IDs, wiring schematics and drawings, panel layouts, and other associated automation system design documentation.
- Electrical design duties for controls systems serving industries including but not limited to: Dairy & Food, Brewery, Ethanol Production, Grain Storage & Handling, Packaging & Material Handling, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Refrigeration, and Industrial Machinery.
- PLC Programming on various control systems including Allen Bradley ControlLogix & CompactLogix controllers using RSLogix 5000 software, MicroLogix/SLC controllers using legacy AB software, as well as other systems using controllers from Automation Direct, Emerson, and others.
- Programming Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Operator Interface Terminals using RS Studio ME software and Wonderware InTouch.
- SCADA System Programming including RSView Enterprise using FT Studio SE, Intellution IFIX 4.0, and Wonderware.
- DCS Programming of Emerson Delta V.
- Industrial control network design using common protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, CANbus, etc.
- Electric motor drive selection, setup and configuration duties for: Mitsubishi FR series, Allen Bradley Powerflex VFD and Kinetix servo drives, and SEW Eurodrive.
- Selection of instrumentation for level, pressure, temperature & flow measurement and control systems.
- Design of control panel layout, motor control center layout, electrical schematic development, and component specification.
- Field Engineering duties including system startup & commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Applying knowledge while working on significant and complex projects.
- Work alongside experienced professionals known for advanced solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or Associate’s degree in engineering or related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or minimum five years related experience.
- Knowledge of PLC based sequencers, programming in ladder logic, function block, and structured text. Knowledge of PID control and loop tuning.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards including NFPA 70 & UL508A.
- Personal computer skills: Microsoft Office products
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently autonomously or as a member of a team. Demonstrated ability to be a team player, with the willingness to help others within the department and company.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work; ability to multi-task
- Comfortable in a client facing role with ability to communicate effectively with clients in a professional & competent manner.
- Ability to: walk in uneven ground/set/slippery locations, climb steps/ladders, lift up to 75 pounds occasionally, bend/stoop/twist, drive to customer locations, etc.

SENIOR CAD DESIGNER
Generates and creates electrical design drawings and packages for PLC based systems using with AutoCad Electrical. Responsible for coordinated packages including BOM, panel layouts, and schematic drawings to meet project needs. Identifies long lead parts and facilitates parts ordering and procurement as needed. Provides mentorship and QC assistance to entry level designers.

- Modifies existing drawings and creates new drawings as needed to meet project timelines and requirements.
- Works closely with engineers, technicians, and owners to obtain information necessary to ensure drawing clarity, accuracy and quality.
- Familiar with requirements of UL508A compliance and generates panel and system designs that meet this standard.
- Familiar with NFPA 70 and NFPA 79 and other applicable codes and standards for electrical systems and control panels and generates designs that comply with these codes and standards.
- Contributes to design reviews and improves job efficiencies.
- Requisitions and procures material for jobs as directed by engineers and technicians.
- Provides mentorship and oversight to entry level designers as needed.
- Assists with applicable automation service calls as needed.
- Assists with panel shop assembly and wiring as needed.
- Performs related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- BS or AS degree in drafting, electrical design, or applicable field.
- Training and certification from a recognized CAD training facility.
- Working knowledge of UL508A, NFPA 79, NFPA 70, and other applicable standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Minimum 4 years related experience or have demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
- Personal computer skills: AutoCad Electrical, Microsoft Office products, as well as knowledge of plotters and printers.
- Independence skills: a self-starter with the ability to work efficiently on their own.

CAD DRAFTER/DESIGNER
ENTRY LEVEL
Responsible for working with AutoCad creating, modifying, and releasing drawings under direct supervision of the designing engineer for use by other departments and customers. Works closely with the Design Engineer and/or Senior Designer to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information.
